1.        Do you want a pet or will you be breeding
    kittens in the future?
  2.        What generation will you want? (F1, F2,
    etc., refers to the generation away from the
    Serval breeding she is - males are sterile until
    the 5th generation)
  3.       Do you have a vet chosen that treats
    Savannahs?
  4.        Do you have an ample amount of playroom
    with scratching posts, climbing trees and a
    variety of toys?
  5.        If you have children, will they be calm, kind
    and respectful of her?
  6.        Do you have any small animals (hamsters,
    birds, fish, etc) that might prove to be a tempting
    meal for kitty?
  7.        Are you ready to commit to a higher
    standard of care and feeding, which includes
    high protein low carb food only, and vitamin
    supplements to make sure their diet resembles
    the nutrient intake of the Serval in the wild?
  8.        Have you researched state and local
    government agencies to check if there are any
    ordinances against owning this type of
    Savannah?
